During the Christmas festivities, a precious nativity scene made of ivory, coral and mother-of-pearl is exhibited to the public. A small masterpiece from the 18th-19th century, attributable to the Trapani school of Tipa, which stands out for its compositional finesse and scenic component. The nativity scene was once kept in the former Capuchin Convent, now owned by the Municipality of Ciminna. At the museum complex, it is possible to admire other works of art, sacred furnishings and jewels from the Capuchin Convent, through an exhibition route that seeks to reconstruct the prominent role of the Capuchin Convent in the province of Palermo from the 16th to the 19th century not only in the ecclesiastical field, but above all in the cultural, artistic and theological field.
