It stands in the town’s main square, next to the town hall’s clock tower. Records of a chapel located in the public square date back to 1783, stemming from a census conducted by the Confraternity of the Most Holy Sacrament regarding a house that bordered the chapel. Inside, on the central wall, within a niche, is the image of Our Lady of Sorrows created by local artist Francesco Cassata in the 19th century.
