The Ecce Homo Chapel stands opposite the Hormer Convent of the Conventual Franciscan Friars of St. Francis. Built in the 18th century, it has a square plan and is set between two adjoining buildings. A slate plaque on the entablature records its construction period. According to historical sources, the chapel was built in 1794 through a donation by the Franciscan friar Father Salvatore Bufalo, a native of Ciminna, and enlarged in 1798.
Inside are a marble altar dating from 1795 and a polychrome wooden statue of the Ecce Homo, carved by Giacomo Quattrocchi in 1802. The façade features a round arch with a wrought-iron gate and a triangular pediment, a design typical of Sicilian devotional chapels of the 18th and 19th centuries
