The celebrations begin on the afternoon of March 18 with a celebration at the San Giuseppe Church . The following day the marching band, walking through the streets of the town, cheers up the inhabitants and in the morning the Solemn Holy Mass is celebrated. At 7:00 pm the procession of the Simulacrum of the Holy Family begins. During the procession the traditional “Vulata ri l’Ancili” (flight of the angels) takes place. During the celebrations, it’s important not to miss the evening appointment with the traditional “Tavulata ri San Giuseppi”, prepared next to the church, a real festival of pasta with sardines and “sfince”, typical dishes of the local tradition linked to this festivity
