It is located in the upper part of the town, in the square known as Piazza del Castello, in the area where, in the early 14th century, there stood an interesting residence belonging to the Ventimiglia and Grifeo Partanna families, the princes of Ciminna. The square-shaped chapel is not of great architectural interest; at the top, it features the letter “M” enclosed within a circle.
The chapel’s foundation may be attributed to the Confraternity of Our Lady of Fervor, composed of the clergy of Ciminna, established in the 18th century with its seat in the Mother Church.
