It is the patronal feast of Ciminna. The cult of San Vito has been documented since the beginning of the 16th century. The sanctuary, which houses the statue of the saint, stands on a hill outside the town. The feast, which takes place every year, is divided into two moments: June 15th and the first Sunday of September, when a procession takes place commemorating the arrival of the relics of San Vito, Modestus and Crescentia on September 4th 1672. The Procession of the Simulacrum and the Relics, enclosed in a silver urn, begins from the San Francesco d’Assisi Church and reaches the Mother Church, while the following Monday carries out the reverse route. The peculiarity of the feast  is that it is a figurative procession, in which around 200 characters in Roman costume divided into 13 scenes recall the life, martyrdom and arrival of the relics of the Saint in Ciminna.
